Tsubame Highland Lodge, Myoko Kogen

Located in Myoko’s National Park, Tsubame Highland Lodge boasts outdoor and indoor hot spring baths with stunning nature views, a 5-minute drive from Seki Onsen ski area. Ski gear rentals are available and free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. To get to Akakura Ski Resort you can ski or snowboard down directly. The hotel can arrange free pick-up by snow tractor from the car parking lot or the nearest station.

Lodge Tsubame Highland offers panoramic views from its 1 km high location. Guests can go hiking in the area, unwind in a public hot spring bath or relax in the cosy lounge. Drinks vending machines and free parking are on-site.

The lodge offers Japanese-style and Western rooms with nature views. Japanese rooms feature traditional futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor, while Western rooms come with beds. All rooms have air conditioning, heating and an LCD TV. Yukata robes are provided, while bathing facilities are shared. One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing beds. A Western breakfast and a dinner with Japanese and Western food are served at the dining room.

The Tsubame Highland Lodge is a 7-minute drive from Myoko Ski Park, and it’s within a 40-minute drive from Akakura Kanko Ski Resort and Suginohara Ski Resort. Sekiyama Station is a 25-minute drive, and JR Myoko-Kogen Station a 30-minute drive.
