The Hotel Tae Windsor (Windsor Hotel Myoko) is located near the foot of Mount Myoko, where guests can enjoy great views of the surrounding nature. Akakura Kanko Ski Resort is a 5-minute walk away and guests can request for a free shuttle service from JR Myoko Kogen Train Station, which is a 10-minute drive away. The free Myoko resort shuttle stops right out the front of the Windsor Hotel Myoko and can take you to any of four local Myoko ski resorts.

The good size rooms feature carpeted floors, a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom. Guests can also use the common bath in the basement. A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each room. A free-use launderette is on site and luggage storage is offered at the front desk. A free-use LAN cable is available at the public area for guests.

Guests can enjoy a mix of Japanese and Western dishes for dinner at the dining room. Homemade bread and cake is served, while a set meal is available for breakfast. The Windsor Bar (below) is a relaxed but nicely-appointed place to meet, either for our after-ski happy hour, or in the evenings, perhaps after a meal in the restaurant.

The Myoko Windsor Inn is a 20-minute drive from the scenic Naenataki Falls and a 15-minute drive from Lake Nojiri – a popular summer destination.
