Hotel Silverhorn Myoko
Located right in front of Akakura Kanko Ski Resort, Hotel Silverhorn is a popular and inexpensive hotel that offers simple Japanese-style rooms with great mountain views (see below). Located right across the road from the Akakan Sky Cable Gondola, you can be on the slopes at Akakura Kanko Ski Resort within a minutes walk out the door of Hotel Silverhorn.
All 15 rooms at the Hotel Silverhorn are Japanese style and have shared bathroom facilities. There is free wi-fi available in all guests rooms and in the lobby area as well. Rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each room comes with heating facilities, a TV and an alarm clock. Small towels and toothbrush sets are provided for all guests, while Japanese Yukata robes and large towels can be rented for an extra charge.
A coin-launderette is on-site and guests can enjoy complimentary green tea. Ski storage is available and ski passes can be purchased at the front desk.
Homemade Japanese meals are served at the dining room for breakfast and dinner.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Central Akakura, and there are several restaurants and bars near the hotel. Silverhorn Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Akakura Champion lifts at Akakura Onsen Ski Resort and a 10-minute walk from Akakura Golf Course. JR Myoko Kogen Train Station is a 10-minute drive away and the bus from the station stops nearby (see map)
