Fantastic renovation at Akakura Ryokan Okayama…a great stay (review)
Akakura Ryokan Okayama-kan in Myoko
Renovated in autumn of 2013, Ryokan Okayama Akakura offers public 24-hour hot-spring baths and rooms with tatami floors – some with an en suite bathroom. The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV and fridge. A private reservable hot-spring bath is available if requested in advance. Ski equipment rentals are available and ski passes can be purchased on site. Akakura Kanko Ski Resort is a 5-minute walk away (see map). A free shuttle is available to and from nearby ski resorts.

Traditional multi-course meals featuring local specialties and local alcoholic beverages are offered for dinner. A Japanese set breakfast can be enjoyed as well. All meals are served at the dining room. Okayama Ryokan Myoko is a 5-minute drive from Akakura Hot Spring Ski Area and Ikenotaira Hot Spring Ski Area. Myoko Kogen Sky Cable Station and Akakan Ski Resort are a 5-minute walk away.
