Hakuba 47 is connected with Goryu. While Goryu has better resort facilities, 47 has the most popular terrain park in Hakuba, some nice trees, and fun top-to-bottom runs where you can cruise the groomers, go for speed, or work on your mogul skills.

Hakuba Iwatake Ski area proudly boasts one of the most breath taking views of the Northern Alps’ Hakuba 3 peaks, including a 360°panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. All 15 courses have their own unique features and its a nice place to snowshoe as well.. Hakuba Iwatake is an undervalued resort with fun runs for beginning riders and snowboarders as well as some challenging terrain over the backside.

NOTE: from December 2009 Highlands lifts are no longer running – perfect for snow play, sledding etc. A small family resort, Hakuba Highland is a great place to learn how to ski. Hakuba Highland faces the big background mountains of Hakuba offers endless opportunites for alpine photos. Check out their hot spring on a clear day or night.
